Room Divider Card

Hi everyone in blogger land!

I'm on a baby card roll.  Another you tube video.

This one is a 4 panel, room divider baby card.
Stickers again from Michaels. The train are stickers from Memory Keepers, my goodness, I think they're about 25 years old!

Tons more fun stuff!

Thanks and blessings!

A Dresser Card

Hey world of bloggers,

The next card I made was for a couple in my church who was having thier 2nd baby.

This is not that card because I didn't have my photo tent set up yet to take pictures of it, so I made another one pretty similar except the base colors are swapped. Thier base color was white with blue drawers as opposed to this one.

This is a side step dresser card.

For the back step, I made a longer card stock panel so I could put more stuff on it.

The stickers I used are from Michaels, Recollections I think.?

                                          These too are fun to make.

This one is very similar to another one I made 4 years ago for another couple in our church having thier 1st baby.

Stay tuned, more to come.

Thanks and be blessed!

Never Ending Card

Hey blogger friends,

In my last post, I thought the flip and twist card was so trick.    Oh contrare!!

This never ending card is even more tricksey!!!

It starts out looking like a gate fold card;

Then as you open it, you come to the 1st reveal;

Then from the middle, you open it up to the 2nd reveal;

Then again, from the middle, you open it up to the 3rd reveal;

And once more, opening it up, you're back to the beginning.

This is, by far, thee most genius card I have ever seen and made!!
And it's actually quite simple! And fun.

You start out with 4 pieces of card stock, these ones are 3"x 6".
You can make it any size you want, but the 4 pcs have to be twice as long as it is wide.

Now I'm not going to explain all the details, but you can go to you tube and search for "never ending card" and watch the tutorial like I did.

There are several, but the gal I liked the best was the one who numbered the fronts and backs of the card stock, which made it way more easy to understand.

 The hardest part was trying to decide which paper to use to decorate it and how.

The paper I chose is from the "Coral Couture Stack" by DCWV.
(Die Cuts With a View)
Turn out really nice I think!

A lot more fun to come!
Thanks and be blessed!

Flip and Twist

Hi bloggers,

I have literally spent hours and hours and hours watching you tube videos on how to make fancy folds and 3-D cards which has become boarder line obsession.

And the first one I saw and made I thought was so dang slick.
It's called a flip and twist card.

From the front it looks like a regular tent card that flips up from the bottom;

But as you open it, it has a folded, twisting mechanism in it. that goes like this;

....and fully open has a fun reveal!

Is that just cool or what!!   I had a ton fun making it.

Don't know why the pictures turned out so orange and yellow, they're actually more creams and rose colors.

Lots more to come!!

1st Card for 2017

Hey blogger world,

I bought this card kit by Paper Wishes from a 24 hr craft event at HSN in Nov/Dec. (?)
The kit is called "Gilded Movable Cards" which are all pretty much 3-D.
The one I chose is a twist easel card.   Pretty cute.

The kit has 3 different designs, with 4 different themes or scenes for each design.
- a regular window easel
- a twisted easel
- a center stage

They're actually pretty easy and simple to punch out and put together with an animated cutesy look.
But I liked the 3-D aspect of them.
I'll make more of them as I go and post them.

That's it for now.
Blessings,
Pam D

I'm Back!!!

Hello blogger friends!

It's been 4 YEARS since my last post.
ALOT has happened in that time.
To name a few.....

- Husband started having migraines and severe headaches to the point he couldn't work
- Didn't work for over a year
- Lost our house through foreclosure (a blessing in disguise!)
- During that year we lived on $13.000 that I brought in from my part time house cleaning business
- Just enough to keep the heat, lights, gas, and water on; food on the table and gas in my van
- Had to pack up a house of 20+ years in 2 wks
- The Lord helped me find a 3 bdrm, 2 1/2 bth duplex to move into.... total miracle!
- My husband had to retire so we could have some kind of income

And we've been recouping ever since. Whew!!!
And God has been so good and faithful during this whole ordeal.

I also lost my blog for a couple years. Totally gone!! I'm still scratchin' my head on that one.
But, I contacted Blogger, and just got it back and going again.

Anyway,  I made a project last summer for the first time since my last post, thanks to one of my clients Kathie who is an extremely talented card maker.
She has a craft room to die for (and a house to boot!), and I house sat for her in July and got the idea for this shadow box from her and this is what I came up with:

This was really fun!!  And now that I've been biten with the bug again, I've been going crazy lately and have made a ton more cards just within the last few months.
To be continued.......

Blessings!

Hey blogger peeps!

Been a while since my last post.

 But I am so exited!  I am the guest designer for Jackie over at Love to Create this coming week!  My second time as a guest designer ever.

It's for Challenge #90  A Color Scheme: Navy blue, leafy yellow, black.

Here's my project:

Did you ever have one of those days when your coloring just does not turn out well at all? Well that's me with this image.  My black Copic was so saturated n wet it just wouldn't blend with the grays I was trying to use, so I had to fill his suit in completely without shading. Then I just couldn't get any of the other colors to blend very well either. Not too bad, but not my best either, oh well.

The image is called "Howdy Pilgrim" by Dr Digi House of Stamps, I just love these two!

That's it for now!
Blessings!
